1969

Ummagumma is arguably the album that layed the groundwork for bands like Coldplay, Sigur Ros, Slowdive, Isis, and Neurosis. Before I was introduced to the Wall and Floyd's more commerical success, Ummagumma was my first taste of underground sub-genres coming out of Britain at the time.
Released in the states on November 10th 1969, Ummagumma peaked at #74 on the US album charts, marking Pink Floyd's debut on the Billboard Top 100. A brilliant record, composed of 1 full live set recorded in Birmingham, England followed by a complete studio album.
